Membership Criteria
The Freeda Network membership is designed for high-achieving, ambitious wedding business owners. We vet applicants for revenue and experience and to ensure our members can get support from a private and trusted network of leaders while navigating similar challenges.
We use a variety of factors to determine whether applicants meet the network criteria and those include:
Creative, service-based business owners and CEOs: Every member of the network must be the owner and/or CEO of their company. Their company must be creative and service-based (eg, paid for your services or your product and services typically accompanied by a custom proposal)
Weddings & events industry: Every member must be in service of those who are planning events, social or corporate gatherings.
Number of years having owned and run the business: Members must have owned the business for at least 5 years or have been a part of the industry for at least 7 years
Revenue: Company must generate a minimum of $200K top line revenue.
Sole focus on the creative service-based business: Members must acknowledge that they spend more than half of their time focused on building and growing their creative, service-based business (ie, we do not accept members who have a full-time job and consider their company a “side hustle” or who may own the company but are now focused on building a separate business that does not meet the above criteria)
Category of company, geography, company size: We vet applicants based on the existing network and it is our goal to provide a diverse network of like-minded businesses that represent all categories, geographical areas, and sizes. As such, some applicants may meet all of the above criteria and be added to the waiting list until we are able to accommodate.
